Feeders (dosers) are essential equipment in various industrial sectors, ensuring reliable and efficient material feeding. Their functionality and variety of belt types allow them to meet various needs for material transport and dosing.
A feeder is a box with a movable belt at the bottom.
The purpose of feeders is to uniformly deliver material at a specified rate. Modern feeders can also automatically adjust the amount of material fed using a frequency converter installed on the electric motor.

All feeders have a box with an extension towards the exit, preventing material from jamming or sticking at the outlet.
At the outlet of the box, a billet shaft is installed - a shaft with a separate drive on which knives or blades are mounted, which cut the mass and ensure a more uniform material feed onto the belt.
For specific applications, our company manufactures feeders designed to receive falling cakes, pre-crush them, and dose them, especially for use under chamber filter presses.
Some projects require storing large-capacity raw materials in bunkers installed above the feeders, with subsequent material dosing. For these purposes, we produce buffer feeders, the design of which is designed to withstand a heavy load on the plate belt.
A special type of feeder is a feeder with a mill (PL 062) instead of a billet shaft. Such feeders are used for materials containing many strong pieces (e.g., kaolins).

Application Area: Feeders are widely used in the mining industry, construction materials industry, kaolin enrichment, iron ore enrichment, chemical industry, and many other sectors. They are used to move, dose, and control flows of various materials, including powders, granules, stones, and other solid or bulk substances.
Advantages:
Uniform Material Feeding: The main purpose of feeders is to provide a constant and uniform material feed at a specified production rate. This helps optimize production processes.
Automatic Control: Modern feeders are equipped with frequency converters, allowing for automatic adjustment of the material feed rate. This provides flexibility and precision in process control.
Variety of Belt Types: Feeders are available in various options, including belt feeders with multi-layer conveyor belts and plate feeders with metal plates. This allows for selecting the appropriate type based on the characteristics of the material to be transported.
Resistance to Large and Hard Pieces: Plate feeders (PL 024 and others) are highly durable and can handle large and hard material pieces, making them an ideal choice for materials with variable composition.
Preventing Material Jamming: The box with an extension towards the exit and the billet shaft with knives-blades at the outlet help prevent material jamming and sticking, ensuring more efficient operation and less downtime in production.
Milling Approach: Feeders with a mill (PL 062) are suitable for processing materials with sturdy pieces, such as kaolins, and help improve the quality of material feed.
Ultimately, feeders and belt conveyors are essential equipment in many industries, ensuring efficient and reliable processing and transportation of materials in production processes.
